Merit Badge Trail Drive

Dates: February 4, 18 and March 3, 2012
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Location: Green County Career Center (2960 West Enon Road in Xenia, OH)
Fees: $5
Books: $4.50

Once again we will be at the Green County Career Center for three sessions, February 4, February 18 and March 3, 2012.

Scouts should look at requirements they need toward their next rank advancement and be ready to sign up. Remember, classes are assigned on a first come first served basses. The quicker you sign up the better the chance of getting the classes you want.

Attach registration and book fees only. Other fees are paid directly to the counselor.

Important Dates:
Book order deadline November 28, 2011
Early registration in by January 7, 2012 can get class information and books at the January 12 Roundtable
Registration deadline January 30, 2012
Session 1 - February 4, 2012
Session 2 - February 18, 2012
Session 3 - March 3, 2012
Vital information:
Read the MBTD form carefully, if you have any questions ask Mr. Chuck or any ASM.
Be sure to complete the form.
You are responsible to mail the form, registration fees and Merit Badge book fees to Council (the address in on page 2 of the form).

Be sure to get your blue cards from Mr. Chuck before MBTD. You must have a completed blue card for every class you take.
You may begin working on your requirements as soon as you have a signed blue card. Be sure to talk to Mr. Chuck before you begin requirements.
You may sign-up for three Merit Badges. But, you may only sign up for two (2) Eagle required Merit Badges.
Class size is limited and is on first-come first-served basis.
There are very specific requirements for Emergency Prep and First Aid. Be sure to read them on page 2 of the registration form.
If you do not complete the Merit Badge during Trail Drive, Troop Merit Badge counselors can help you.
Be sure to read your Merit Badge book before the class begins.
While at MBTD, all participants SHALL be either in their assigned classes or in the Scout Center (cafeteria).
Once you signed up for a class, if you wish to make class changes you MUST contact the Trail Drive Staff, prior to the start of class, as soon as possible. This will insure we can find a Scout should the need arise or in case of an emergency. Also, this will help greatly when completing final reports for your unit.
If you miss a deadline, there will be no exceptions. You cannot show up at Merit Badge Trail Drive and expect to take a class if you did not register in advance.
