Parent/Scout summer camp meeting Monday, 26 April from 7:45-8:30 during the Patrol Leader’s Council (PLC). Please bring any Individual registration forms, permission slips, medical forms, campership requests and questions about camp.

The weather service is predicting the possibility of serious storms for tonight, including hail, lightening and high winds. Because there is no shelter in the Beavercreek Community Park, we will NOT assemble tonight for the New Scout outing.
We WILL leave Saturday morning. Here is the revised schedule:
ARRIVE at Hawker Saturday morning at 6:45 am
Depart for the park at 7:15.
Everything else will go as planned. Please refer to my email yesterday for the rest of the details. By the way, it will be cold on Sunday morning. Dress appropriately.
Normally, we do not cancel or postpone outings. However, since the Beavercreek Community Park campground does not have a shelter, there is no place the Scouts can move to during a serious weather event. If we had a proper shelter we could use in the event of a serious storm, we would not have changed the campout. Predicted storms do not always materialize.
