The GermanFest Picnic Fundraiser will be Friday\, Saturday\, Sunday\, August 14\,15\,and 16. Please put this weekend on your calendar as we will need everyone to make this a success. This is a week later than originally planned. This is a great money maker for the troop and the boys. We stand to make between $2\,500 and $3\,000 in just 2 ½ days. It is easy enjoyable work\, collecting parking fees\, directing traffic\, and hauling trash. Unlike the Popcorn Festival where the trash hours are service hours\, all time spent working at the picnic will be credited as fundraising. The more hours you work\, the more you earn.

All Scouts should bring their bicycles to the meeting. We will be following a set of instructions indicating an unknown route through the neighborhood to end at an undisclosed location. Don’t forget your helmets\, and any other equipment that you might need to assist with navigation. Scouts will compete by patrol\, with prizes for the patrol that completes the course quickly and accurately. The Leadership Patrol\, and the Adults may also compete if they like.
