As a fundraiser, Troop 42 helps with the GermanFest Picnic. We are responsible for Parking/Traffic and Trash collection. The GermanFest Picnic is August 8 - 10.
It is vital we cover all the time slots. Parents and siblings, who work, have their hours credited to their scout. Please sign up for one or more shift.
Time slots:
Friday, 8 August
· 3:30 PM to 10:00PM (3 adults and 7 Scouts or siblings) This shift can be split up.
Saturday, 9 August
· 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM (3 adults and 7 Scouts or siblings)
· 1:00PM to 5:00PM (4 adults and 11 Scouts or siblings)
· 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM (3 adults and 7 Scouts or siblings)
Sunday, 10 August
· 9:45 AM to 3:00 PM (3 adults and 7 Scouts or siblings)
· 12:30PM to 3:00PM (4 adults and 11 Scouts or siblings)
· 3:00PM to 7:30PM (3 adults and 7 Scouts or siblings)
If you cannot work the shifts as outlined but wish to participate, contact Mr. Leonard.
During a shift, we plan to rotate people between jobs, so folks don’t do the same job for the entire shift. If you wish to do a particular job, please note that in your email response.
We supply everything you need (orange vests, aprons, etc.). Bring a water bottle. If you have FMS Handy-talkies, bring them.
Mr. and Mrs. Flake are in charge. Mr. Leonard will assist. Please call Mr. Leonard if you have any questions.

Troop Meeting--
Monday's meeting is at Beavercreek Community Park (on Factory Road near Route 35)) – Bike inspection – canoe safety. We will not meet at Hawker.
PLC Annual Planning Meeting
Date: August 14
Time: 6:30 pm until we finish (likely 9:30)
Who Must Attend: SPL, ASPL, Patrol Leaders, Scribe
To prepare for this meeting, all Scouts of the Troop should think carefully about the events and outings they want to have for 2008-2009. Please email a list of the 20008-2009 outings you would like to participate in to me before August 1. This will allow us time to collect all the ideas and to share them with the PLC before the Annual Planning Meeting.
