Troop Meeting
Spring Camporee
Camporee will be a great experience. We have about 15 Scouts attending, which will be a great
thing! Here are some details you need:
- Arrive at Hawker Friday night at 6:15
- Bring a signed permission slip
- Remember, we travel in class A
- When we arrive, we will immediately set-up camp, by patrols
Don't forget to bring money (cash) for your grubmaster.
In addition to your personal gear, bring your personal mess kit. We will NOT use foil for mess
kits.

NO Troop Meeting- meeting on Wednesday May 23rd at YMCA for swimming.
Troop Meeting at Beavercreek YMCA for swimming.
We will offer swim tests. The Y will charge each Scout $4 to use the pool. If you are a member of
the Y, it should be free.
Canoeing on Little Miami River
The Scout must pass his swim test to attend the canoeing. Swim tests are offered this Wednesday night at the Beavercreek YMCA (if you are not a member of the Y, there is a $4 charge per person to use the Y pool).
Meet at the Hawker Church Saturday at 9:00 am
Fee: $14
Permission slip is required.
Return to Hawker at 3:00 pm on Saturday.
Dress appropriate for canoeing: wear old tennis shoes, shorts, Scout T-shirt
Carry personal lunch and drink in water proof package. Pack light (what ever we carry in, we must carry out).
